Dear Parents,
We trust your family is well. We miss your children! We have a plan for the students to continue learning while school is closed. It is imperative that you assist in your children’s learning. Home instruction will begin March 30, 2020. Please plan on picking up your child’s books and instructions Thursday (today) 1:00-4:00PM or Friday 8:00AM-12:00PM. Your child’s teacher will be in communication with you and will be available to answer your questions as we go through this required distance learning process. Chromebooks will be available for those in grades 3-5 who communicated on the technology survey that they did not have a device. Those parents picking up a device will need to park, and come to the table under the orange awning to sign a waiver to receive a device. Everyone else please stay in your car and we will deliver the books to you. Stay tuned to for further information. The Governor announced that school is closed through April 15th.

Confiamos en que su familia esté bien. ¡Extrañamos a tus hijos! Tenemos un plan para que los estudiantes continúen aprendiendo mientras la escuela está cerrada. Es imprescindible que ayude en el aprendizaje de sus hijos. La instrucción en el hogar comenzará el 30 de marzo de 2020. Planee recoger los libros y las instrucciones de su hijo hoy el jueves desde 1:00-4:00PM o viernes 8:00 AM-12:00PM. El maestro de su hijo se comunicará con usted y estará disponible para responder sus preguntas a medida que avancemos en este proceso de aprendizaje a distancia requerido. Las computadoras Chromebooks estarán disponibles para aquellos en los grados 3-5 que se comunicaron en la encuesta de tecnología que no tenían un dispositivo. Aquellos padres que recojan un dispositivo deberán estacionarse y dirigirse a la mesa debajo del toldo naranja para firmar una exención para recibir un dispositivo. Today will be the last day our school will be open for this week. ICS will be shut down as of 4:00pm today Monday, March 16. We wish our community well during this time of uncertainty.
Breakfast and lunch will be available to Charter School students and any present family member on Wednesday, March 18, and Thursday, March 19th only, during the following times and designated high school locations:
Times: Breakfast - 8:00 am - 10:00 am, Lunch - 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
*Note: Student must have their Broward County Student Identification Number

ICS students received a Spring Break Packet to be completed next week and returned when school reopens.
We will send updates at the end of Spring Break as Broward County School District communicates further information regarding the opening of school.
